DD Client Support Worker (CLS)


Position Title: Client Support Worker (Community Living Support) 

Program Name: Developmental Disabilities Residential Services

Works with the following population: Male and female individuals with developmental disabilities.

Days & Time: This position will work 40 hours a week, Sunday through Saturday, as needed based on the individual(s). This program stays open 24/7, and this is primarily a 2nd shift position (4pm to 12am), but may be split with 1st shift (8am to 4pm) as needed. 

Pay: $25,800 per year

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Client Support Worker provides care to individuals in a residential environment or in a group home. 

The Client Support Worker will do the following: 

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in accordance with their individualized care plans. 
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing eating and mobility.
  • Regulate, document, and report resident behavior/progress on an ongoing basis. 
  • Maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment.
  • May possibly prepare meals and bathe. 
  • Transport individuals to and from the program
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, and must be able to provide proof. At least 2 years of experience in the behavioral health field. Must posses any combination of training and experience that has allowed the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with individuals with mental disabilities and/or addictive diseases. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.  Applicant must have an insured vehicle available for work; as well as a clean Motor Vehicle Report, as the position transports.
