Under general to limited supervision, the candidate will communicate with internal and external resources to accurately link individuals to needed services. The candidate will also complete daily documentation of services and assigned reports. The populations served include: Mental Health & Substance Abuse (adults and children).
Program Name: Medical Services Unit
Works with the following population: Male and female adults and children with a mental health diagnosis and/or addictive diseases.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Mental Health, or a related discipline -OR- one (1) year of full-time experience as a Social Services Technician. Must have one (1) year of experience working directly with the public.
Days & Time: This position will work 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday. Most programs work from 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunchbreak.
Pay: $30,000 per year
