The candidate will provide services for community integrated services and brokered goods aimed at providing families with highly specified support and services needed to keep family together, prevent institutionalization, and allow the continued care of a family member diagnosed with intellectual or developmental disabilities until permanent funding can be received.
Program Name: DD Family Support
Works with the following population: The I/DD population in all eight (8) counties we provide services, which are: Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Harris, Talbot, Stewart, Quitman, Randolph, and Clay.
Minimum Requirements: Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in the field of social sciences -or- a high school diploma / GED, with at least two (2) years of direct care in the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) services. Must have at least two (2) years of supervision experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with individuals with mental disorders.
Days & Time: This position is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Pay: $33,455 per year.
