Licensed Counsleor

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering and documenting individual and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention and case management services to youth, ages 12 to 17. These services will be delivered at the Project Change Clubhouse or in the community. The candidate will conduct intakes, screenings, and diagnostic assessments to establish differential diagnosis and treatment plans. The candidate will also deliver person-centered, culturally senstive, trauma-informed assessment and recovery skills using evidence-based interventions. In addition, the candidate will utilize a strengths-based approach in collaborating with family systems, school staff, juvenile drug court, and community partners. Additional duties may include participating in community collaboration and treatment team meetings in support of students, in addition to assisting with transportation of the youth to outings as needed. The candidate will maintain client charts/documentation according to agency standards.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work, in addition to any of the following licenses: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT. Must have at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting providing assessments, therapy and services to youth and families. At least 2 years of working or internship experience in substance abuse treatment and counseling. A clean driving record, valid driver's license, and a personal vehicle with valid car insurance.

Population Served:  Boys and girls, ages 12 to 17. 

Days & Time: This position will work a 40-hour weekly schedule, Monday through Friday, 11am to 7pm. Some Saturdays are required.

Rate of Pay: $40,200 - $43,000 per year.
