Justice Services Liaison
Program Name: Adult Outpatient Treatment (AOT)
Works with the following population: Adult Outpatient Treatment, Mental Health Court, Muscogee County Jail.
Days & Time: This position will work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday. 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunchbreak.
Pay: $64,000 per year
Job Responsibilities
Under general to limited supervision, the candidate will:
- Work with individuals in AOT and prior to AOT enrollment to ensure strong treatment planning and maximize benefit.
- Develop relationships with Probate Court, jail staff, and other members of the justice community within the agency's 8-county service area to improve AOT functioning and impact.
- Develop relationships needed to become liaison to Superior Court Mental Health Court and provide support for State Court Mental Health Court.
- Develop knowledge base to complete petitions for outpatient commitment and provide guardianship evaluations.
Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. in psychology. Two (2) years of experience with the severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) populations. One (1) year of experience with forensic/justice-involved individuals.
