The Program Director is responsible for supervising a specialty coordinated team. The Program Director will conduct weekly staff meetings, provide therapy and intake to male and female youth and young adults, between the ages of 16 and 30.
In addition, the Program Director will help to link youth and their families to community resources, manage referrals, serve as a liaison between New Horizons Behavioral Health and DBHDD, participate in recruitment of individuals to the program and complete clinical documentation, assessments, monthly reports, and required meetings. Will also chair community meetings and serve on youth-serving program boards.
The position works Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm.
Program Name: EMERGE Light-ETP
Works with the following population: Male and female youth and young adults, between the ages of 16 and 30, with mental health diagnosis.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree from an accredited college/university in counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy. Must be fully licensed or have an associate license: LPC/LAPC, LCSW/LMSW, or LMFT. Licensure must be in the state of Georgia. Must have supervisory experience working with youth/young adults and families with mental health diagnosis.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with individuals with mental disabilities and/or addictive diseases.
Days & Time: This position will work 40 hours a week. Most programs work Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with a 1-hour break.
Pay: $57,696 per year.
